A potter, I am learning to be. I cannot boast great degrees in art or ceramics. Most of what I have learned has come from watching other potters and through trial and error. I will not go into my whole story of how I came to become a clay addict. That’s for another time. Only that with the support of my wife, family and friends I am were I am today and I thank all of them.
As an artist, most of my work is inspired by others that have traveled this path before me. Focusing mostly on Folk Art Facejugs, I enjoy slowly seeing the faces take shape. I am starting to expand beyond the Facejugs and fined that I am slowly finding my niche in the Pottery Community. I do not believe I have arrived yet, but I believe I am on the right road to get there.
